Pastor Jose Carol said that you must control your tongue because:
1.It is able to direct your life.
2.It is able to destroy what you have already built.
3.It is able to show the real of you.
(It is based most on James 3: 1 -13)
And he also gave four hints how to control yourself:
1.Set a goal ( 1 Corinthians 9 : 26 ).
2.Practice to control yourself ( 1 Corinthians 9 : 24 – 25).
3.Discipline ( 1 Corinthians 9 : 26 – 27).
4.Get a mentor.
Okay, this is my short summary of today’s sermon and well, I was blessed with it….. Now, I will try to control my tongue especially when I am angry… I always know if my heart is not in the good condition, everything that I say will hurt others although I didn’t mean to do that.
The last thing that I want to share (just remember…..) : Fast in listening but slow in saying words…….. (This sentence can be found in bible but I don’t know where….. hehehe)
