When I lived in New Zealand, I bought a laptop and a professional manual camera (CANON). The main reason I bought them was the thought that it was a right time for me to buy something that I really want to have without my mom’s permission. Hehehe…

After I’ve arrived in Jakarta and stayed here for approximately 3 months, I felt really satisfied about my decision to buy those electronic devices in New Zealand I think the thought that the price of electronic device in New Zealand is more expensive than in Jakarta, is not true at all.

I just figure out that the salary in Jakarta and the price of goods is not balanced. It is not like in New Zealand, I think it’s quite balanced. For example: I worked part time at hotel, and to buy a professional manual camera, I need to work approximately 2 months and a half. And the job that I got is only 15 hours per weeks. I believe if I bought this camera in Jakarta, I need to work 3 months or more for a full time job !!!!

And then, I also realized that the ticket price of 21 cineplex is quite unreasonable. When I am in NZ (again), to buy the most expensive ticket, I need to work approximately one hour and a half. That’s it. But in Jakarta, I need to work more than two hours.

What do you think about this? I think this would be happened to anybody who has salary in rupiah. It would be a different to anyone who works in Jakarta but earns salary in dollar. hehehehe

Hi and thanks, to everyone who reads this blog.

Today I bought some fish. Eight of them are (red) gold fish and other is (black) gold fish. My mom asked me to do that today because today was a national holiday, the celebration of the birthday of Prophet Muhammad S.A.W. Other than holiday, and weekend, I am pretty sure that I have no time to do anything other than working.

I felt so confused when my mom asked me to put the aquarium near my parent house’s main door. I just think that it is not a good position, because most of the time the door is closed which it means that there is no enough sunlight in that place. But well, I believe that my mom told me to do this because she heard something like Feng Shui (do I spell this term correctly?)

Although I have already worked at one IT company in Jakarta, I still try to get another job. I think that the current workplace is not well organized especially in providing trainings to new staffs. Do you know? That most of the work hours that I have already had at that company are filled with waiting ..waiting…. until the trainers have time to give trainings to us. It is because currently the two trainers are also busy on their work at the client’s company.

So this Thursday, after considering many aspects, I sent an email to one of international banks in Jakarta to which I applied the Entry Level Position. I hope I can have a chance to get an interview with this bank and furthermore, they will accept me as their new staff.

That’s all from me now. I will continue my story later especially the fish’s story. I hope all of them will stay alive until next week. Hehe… I have a bad experience with having fish in my home.

Bye.. enjoy your holiday for you guys who live in Jakarta and to you all God bless you!!

NB: Can somebody give me some good advices about taking care fish in aquarium? Thanks….
